At 16 to the USA
At the age of 16, I packed my courage and my bags and moved to the USA. My dream? A career as a basketball player. This exciting time in a foreign country not only brought me closer to the American dream but also shaped my entrepreneurial thinking. Every challenge on the basketball court became a lesson for my later life.
10 years professional kite surfer
For over ten years, I was a professional kite surfer and won several championships. This exciting and challenging time shaped me not only physically but also mentally. Imagine steering your kiteboard through raging waves and stormy winds – you learn what it means to perform at your best under pressure. Even as a family man and entrepreneur, I always find time to get on my board and enjoy the freedom on the water.
Doctor of Medicine
My studies, which I completed as a doctor of medicine, shaped seven years of my life. As a surgeon, I learned to handle great responsibility and work precisely under pressure. This understanding of responsibility and precision accompanies me to this day in my entrepreneurial activities.
Off to Hong Kong into entrepreneurship
After my experiences and adventures in sports and medicine, I took the leap into entrepreneurship. I moved to Hong Kong and founded my first crypto company with two partners in 2015. Together, we built it up to a value of 80 million USD by 2019. This experience was the foundation for my later successes and showed me how much can be achieved with determination and teamwork.
My start with YouTube
Already in 2015, I started my YouTube channel, initially with various concepts. But I realized that persistence and consistently good content pay off. With endurance and passion, I managed to build an impressive community of 200,000 followers on YouTube alone over the years. Today, I share valuable knowledge about entrepreneurship, investments, and personal development daily and inspire people to pursue their own dreams.
With passion to bestseller
My first bestseller, 'Tricktionary,' arose from my love for kite surfing and laid the foundation for my journey as an author. But it really began in 2016 with the publication of '25 Stories for My Younger Self.' Since then, I have written five more bestsellers revolving around investments, family, mindset, and entrepreneurship. Each of these successes fills me with pride and shows that great things can be achieved with passion and dedication.
The woman of my dreams
In 2011, I met Bettina, even before my journey as an entrepreneur began. Our relationship quickly became a deep source of strength and inspiration. Seven years later, we said yes to each other – a decision that fills my heart with pride and one I will never regret. Bettina is not only my wife but also my best friend who supports and accompanies me in everything.
The founding of the Cake Group
In 2019, I founded Cake DeFi, now known as bake.io, and began the success story of the Cake Group. We are revolutionizing the world of digital assets and giving every investor the chance to achieve financial freedom with their investment. Three wonderful children
My family is my anchor and gives me the energy to pursue all my dreams. Our three wonderful children bring daily joy and love into my life. For me, there was never an 'either or,' because my role as a family man outshines all professional successes. The shared moments with my family are the most valuable in my life, and they remind me of what really matters. Family is my greatest happiness and will always be.

In an exciting live stream, I decided to sell Bitcoin worth 10 million USD – exactly at the then all-time high. It was a moment that cemented my reputation as an investment expert and simultaneously showed the incredible opportunities Bitcoin and co. can offer.
