Unbelievable Waves at Kingfisher
At first it was not 100% sure what I was gonna do after Boracay, whether I was gonna to straight to Australia, Singapore or whatever else... Kathrin from Isla Kite came up with an interesting idea, to fly to the North of the Philippines, where she claimed to know a great but unkown wavespot...I only had a few days, but I was super interested to see what this secluded place had to offer. The trip to get there is very exhausting, taking almost a full day. Mon, the owner of Kingfisher, the only resort there, is super nice. He invited us to stay with him, and showed us around for the days we were there. The kite spot is just incredible: Even though super gusty, the 4m waves are breaking clean on the reef, and procude one barrel after the other. I am quite sure that this spot will be once compared to places such as Mauritius or Indo. Check out the Kingfisher Gallery!!!
Now I am alreay in Singapore, where I will get some work done for university and the upcoming kite camps. After that I am off to the next F-ONE Camp in Melbourne, from where I will had back home after being on the road for over 3 months!
Cheers
Jule
