Turks & Caicos - The first Kite Session
Today was the 4th day on the island. The wind had not been as good as hoped, I have only been a day on the water so far :-( However the forecast for the whole next week is looking perfect :-) YAY!!! The one day ON the water made up for all the no-wind-time though as the water is crystal and completely turquis. The wind is like out of a van, truly perfect. The few locals are super nice and help us out wherever they can!A true challenge is the left-hand traffic. Even though I had been driving on the left in England already it is always pretty difficult again to drive on the wrong side especially as the steering wheel of our rental is still on the left like in a normal right-hand car. Also, this island has been one of the most expensive places I have ever been… Darn rich trouists… hahahah ;-) But asides that everything is more than lovely and we enjoy the relaxed life and get a go at the local gym now and then!
From tomorrow on it looks pretty good with the wind for the whole next week and as we will be here until the 20 we will get to kite enough anyways the next 2 weeks! So I guess I will give you another update the next days and also hopefully will be able to get you some nice action pics!!!
