I honestly have to admit, that before my trip this week to Turkey, I did not have such good associations with this country, so I was even more impressed about how great it presented itself! The spot where we were kiting is about an hour drive away from the airport in Izmir, close to Cesme, at the main sponsors hotel 7800…The kiting spots here seem to be really impressive: During the main season from Mai till September the constant winds blow sheer every day and the crystal clear turquoise water are flat like a plate! The locals are really friendly, and just wanna have the same fun on the water as you do! I had 3 great days out, and one day I could even use my 11m lines for some nice kiteloop photo action! I will come back next May to get a nice Spot Guide and an Fone Camp done!!!
Sadly I only got to stay for one week, and after 2 days of incredible sight seeing in Istanbul I already had to leave back home! Check out the gallery with all the pictures from here!! Tomorrow I already have to go to the clinic to get some work done, and on the 9th of October I will fly to a Fotoshooting for 2 weeks to the Maledives! I am super stoked about this surprising trip, as the Maledives have always been one of my dream destinations!!!
I will give you another update during the next days, with a new aquired sponsor ;-)
