The F-ONE VOLT
In the last years F-ONE always had a pure beginners kite with the Revolt, that was pretty much only used in schools. However this year F-ONE wants to offer a product that not only a kiter will use during his or her first 20 hourse but moreover could kite with all his life. The Re got dropped and the new kites name is now VOLT! Here at my F-ONE camp in Taiwan I took a 9 and 11 to test, take pictures but also show to a huge asian kitesurfing community. So far, everybody was stoked!!!!Compared to the Bandit4 this new kite still has an extremely huge Delta. This is very important to ist typical feel and touch, as the VOLT has an oustanding autorelaunch due to ist round shape. Should a kiter drop the kite, it will be at the edge of the wind window within secons. Perfect for any beginner or iffy sitiuations in waves. Also, the VOLT is mega stabil and can basically not be dropped out of the sky. This is very important for my main 2 advisory groups: beginners-intermediates & wavecracks!
The VOLTs Low End is even a little better than the Bandit’s and has just about the same good High End. Jumping ability is similar. A huge difference ist he turning speed and radius. The VOLT turns alot tighter and faster, thereby being excellent in waves, combined with the stability and Power. Also kiteloop beginner will appreciate the tighter turns. Compared to the Bandit4 it is not as direct, which will make it not as good of a Freestyle Kite or a kite for people you need to feel the kite alot. Waveriders and the beginner-intermediate riders however will love this new kite, and even I will get a small set to use it in waves, as there the kite is just sick!!! Also, the new color combinations rock!!!
