PKRA Leucate - Arrival
The last days in Tarifa I had some real nice wind, mostly for 7 or 9, and most of the time on the lagoon. So I feel pretty well prepared fort his tourstop here in Leucate. On my way here I first stopped at my girlfriends place in Madrid for one night and afterwards I drove to the BEST HQ in Barcelona.There I picked up the new 9 Yarga (I have got the 11 already) and then continued the remaining 200 km to La Franqui, where the competition site is. The town is pretty small, and there is not much going on so far. I live together with the Schitzhofers, who rented a really sweet apartment here, right in front of the event site!
Untill now everything looks pretty left and lonely, but tomorrow all this will change. Pretty much everybody of the Top-riders is here and we will have Trials for sure, which I wont have to go through due to my TOP12 seeding :-) The conditions here are pretty sick. Supercold and today weh ad 40+ knots... not really exciting :-)
The crazy organizer set the riders meeting for 8 AM tomorrow, so we will go to bed super early, to be ready. I am a little sick, and I have to take antibiotics cause I am just over an infected throat. However there are no excuses, as there will only one way: the Highway ;-)

Was ist denn da passiert? Warum seid Ihr (Alvaro, Pile, Silvester und Du) denn schon in der 1. Runde ausgeschieden?
Richard Siwaletti wollte mir noch eine neue Best-Bar 55cm besorgen. Da die Transportkosten so hoch sind, kann mir ja vielleicht jemand (Alvaro, Sami) die Bar aus Barcelona mitbringen (in Absprache mit Richard)?

Inzwischen habe ich neue Waroos (9 + 11) bekommen, und von 2007 habe ich noch 7 + 15 . Dafür brauche ich noch eine 55cm Bar.
