PKRA Chile - Day2
When I woke up at 8AM I only saw clouds in the sky and was already thinking: damn, no wind for today one more time (according to the locals the termical winds would only hit in with the sun) But shortly afterwards while I was brushing my teeths on the beacht he clouds broke and the sun hit! So at least the temperatures become suitable so we could chill at least topless in the windshadows, cause otherwise the winds which arrive from the Antarctis are freezing cold!Skippers meeting was set at 12:00 and the forecast for wind was pretty good! So I pumped up my 9 and 12 Yarga and chilled afterwards to wait fort he wind to pick up! It was a pity it did not, so the Freestyle guys were put on hold and the Kitesurf-surfing guys put up the show! It was pretty sick watching riders such as Vari, Chaime, Pivec, Shinn etc... ripping in the wavecontest!
In the evening they held the first round of Freestyle since the wind was still suitable, but gladly I did not have to compete since I am placed in the Top10 which would not have to ride untill 2nd round! So we are on hold untill tomorrow with hopefully a lot of sun and more wind :-)
