PKRA Chile - Back Home
It felt so good to finally have all this years competition behind myself! It was an exhausting season, I had learned a lot both in kiting but also in life! Yesterday evening I had a real nice weight lifting session with some weights since a long time and this morning I went running for 30 minutes!!! This feels so great... I am even a little sore from yesterday ;-) I cannot wait to finally leave this cold place and get back into warm Europe ;-)I picked up the price money (yehaa... cash is always good ;-) and we had another delightfull dinner which would be provided by the organizer every day! Saying good bye to all my new friends was really hard (some of them I will not see for more than 6 months)! Afterwars we immediately left to Santiago! We took our trip in a pretty small car, which would usually fit 5people at the most! Weh ad 3 big kitebags, additional luggage and backpacks and us 5 people! I was squeezed within bags in the trunk of the car, and I couldnt even see out of the windows :-(... so what, it was the cheapest way to go the 3 hours to Santiago! There we took us a cheap room in a youth hostel, and afterwards we went out in to the shopping center of Chiles capital!
The next morning my alarm got me out of bed at 5AM! Our flight to Sao Paulo was at 7:25AM! At the check in we were not as lucky as on the flight to come here! I paid 30 Euros for excess bagagge... not much, but compared to the 5 Euros on the way here it is a fortune :-( We also had to pick up our lugagge in Sao Paulo and recheck it in! Topping that, I also lost Kari somewhere in Sao Paulo, messed up my ticket with hers and had a lot of fun explaining the lady at the check in and the security officer at the control point why I am not a girl ;-) Kari had the same problems, just she had to explain why she was not a boy ;-) We did not find each other untill we entered the plane...
The flight had a 2 hour delay and I was so looking forward to finally see Ralf and Eve in Taiba again! I did not arrive in Fortaleza untill 9PM instead of 7:30PM! They both were so sweet as to pick me up, and have a delicious dinner before I fell into bed!
Tomorrow I will leave to go to Spain for the Teamridermeeting... has been a lot of flying the last days ;-)
