Fone Bandit4 - The Full Review
Since Fone puts all their money into one kite, there is the possibility every year, that this plan goes all wrong, or they produce the next Big Cash Cow! Of course this is always a little nerve wrecking when we all get to test the kites at the Dealermeeting. But I can assure you, the Bandit4 will once again be the top kite to beat!!!The graphics are very similar to the Bandit3, since Fone wants to have a clear recognizable line. The 2 main differences (aside of some several small ones) are the almost rectangular tips and the kite has only 3 instead of 5 struts. This results into the main improvements of the flying abilities:

Soöruz Promo Trip Video
Since it took me 3 days and 2 nights full on flying just to get from CostaRica to Mauritius via Houston and Frankfurt, I had plenty of time to work on my latest video. Thanx to Soöruz I was able to do some great trips in the past. I captured some of them on the cam, and I want to present them out of quite interesting angles from the board and kite!For now I am 2 weeks in Mauritius at the Dealermeeting. Teneriffa, Cocos and a Luggage Mess
I was fairly dissapointed by Teneriffa. Even thought the worldcup has been organized very well, I can barely understand how tourists could ever voluntarily choose to come to this place to ride waves or kite. The wind is extremely strong, gusty, and the water more than choppy. Anyways, even though I planned on competing on this stop I dismissed this plan immediately, and rather helped out with the Orga of the event. Fuerteventura
The Worldcup on Fuerteventura went by super fast. I have been here on the island as one of my most stops in my kiteboarding career, even though I dont like the place too much. 5 Times to be exact!!! We hat heaps of stuff to do every day: Judging, writing reports, get pictures and edit some online things. The last days I caught a cold, and was tied to the bed :-( Still, I managed to ride for a few hours every day, even though the conditions are pretty crappy....After here I will go for Sooruz to Teneriffe, which is my first time to visit another Canarian Island. I hope on my flight home on the 16th the spanish aircontrol wont go on strike, and I would be stuck here... Maybe I will compete here again after 2 years... we will see :-)

The Source & The Bandit 4
The last week here in Montpellier, the Headquarter of Fone, was extremely busy and stressful as Fone will be on summer vacation next week and we had to get a pressmeeting, videos and fotos done before that. During those 7 days we presented the new Source and Bandit4. Done with studying...
Wow, I am pretty sure that this has been the longest time ever that I have not updated my website, but it was for a reason. I just finished my absolute last medical exam, and this fall I will probabyl be starting some work in the hospital...
