Snowkiting, Coverage & Sequences
The last weeks back home have been quite stressfull. I was working at the uni or at the clinic 12h a day, adding up to studying and diploma research, there was no real time for anything else! This weekend I took off 2 days and went snowkiting with Daniel. We drove to a super sick spot in Italy, with 3D kiting-area and nice wind. Goodbye Capetown
The last week here was actually quite good. The waves got ibgger than 5m and I will remember the 2 sessions in Hakgat for a long time. I did not go for any Freestyle any more, but mostly on my 6m Bandit3 and my 5-10 Signature into the waves. They were quite challenging, but not cause they had 1½ boom height, but rather cause there is a lot of chop on the wave with the 30 kts wind... A Happy New Year 2010 from Capetown
The winds here are finally full-on! I basically never take a bigger kite than 7 and the word underpowered does not exist anymore ;-) 30kts minimum day-in-day-out, and sometimes it is that strong that i dont even go out on my 6. First Week in Capetown
I have been in Capetown now for a week. The wind hasnt been quite as good as hoped, but it was ok for 2 nice sessions: One with some great swell at Dolphin Beach with my surfboard and the other one a Wakestyle Session in Langebaan. Other than that me and my girlfriend Jac drive around alot and visit nature and are amazed by the wonderful landscape. We just seen the Cape, which is really impressive. X-mas was pretty mellow, sitting together with the Schitzhofer family and Jac... pretty chilled. I am studying pretty energetic and try to finish my diploma research. Merry X-mas from Capetown
Only 1 week working at the clinic almost got me Burned-Out. I had to work 10h a day on the clinic, then get my diploma going, write some kite stories from Taiwan and with no real time left it was pretty tough. But it was only one week, so I have got vacation and time to relax now. I just spent 2 days in Basel with at a very good friends birthday party, and now I am at the airport on my way to Capetown. I will spend the next 3 weeks there, working together with a magzine, but also studying alot, kiting and having fun! I will keep you up to date regularily, no worries!So I am wishing everybody a MERRY X-MAS!!! Celebrate as much as you can, dont eat too much and stay ready for the next upcoming season :-)

Fone Dealershipmeeting 2009 Zafarana
The time with my host family in Nashville was super great. It almost felt like I never left. Thanx for taking me up like your son again :-) After that I visited the Dakine Headquarter in Hood River together with my girlfriend. It was unbelievably interesting to see the whole team and factory!!! Living my life: Combining Uni and Kiting
This time in Brazil I wont take as many pics as usual, which is not because I am lazy but rather cause I wanna focus more on getting some video footage in. Thats why there is not too many new pics ;-) Patrick, a friend of mine, who I had already been travelling with several times, and he was nice enough to film me now and then. 1 month at home inbetween Brazil
I spent the last month in Innsbruck to work at the clinic at the final stages of my medical studies. Thats also the reason why I did not update anything... just nothing to talk about except for sick people ;-) My girlfriend Jacqueline is also back in Canada... 2 months without her :-( Well, but my plans fort he next two months are just incredible. I will make a trip around our planet: Europe-Brazil-USA-Japan-Honkong-Egypt-Europe. What an experience!!!
