Leaving to Cape Verde

The last time I had been home for over 2 weeks is now 9 months ago. Of course, I could really enjoy my time here now, and meet friends, families and take time to get stuff organized. I had lots of fun, but I got to admit, that I am quite happy to get on the road again :-)

On the 3rd of March I am taking off to the next F-ONE Camp on Cape Verde. I will have a blast there with a bunch of Dutchies!! For this, I also made a Camp Intro Video, to explain the outline of our camps to people who are interested to participate! Furthermore, the KITE made me one of the cooles presents ever: A COVER!!! I was totally surprised, as nobody was telling me about it! THANK YOU!!!

After this week on Cape Verde, I will head straight to the worldcup in Thailand, Mexico, Marocco and Lanzarote. Lots of travelling, lots of stress, but heaps of fun... I will give you the next update from Sal, Cape Verde...

Cheers

Jule

Back Home after 4 months

Gosh... it feels sooo amazing when you come back home after 4 months of travelling. Sleeping in your own bed, meeting friends and just like being on vacation! I also applied for a new passport, as my old ones ran out with 55 pages in just 2 years... haha, well, I guess I am not lazy ;-)

Anyways, I will get my business studies going and I also worked on the F-ONE Camps. Here is our latest video!

I will bring out another video with lots of interviews from participants, so you guys get a good feeling of what the camps are all about! Talk to you soon...

Cheers

Melbourne

I was already in Melbourne last year, exactly during the same time. Just as then, I was invited by George from kitemag.com.au as guest of honor for the Week of the Wind Festival. I used this opportunity to also hold another F-ONE Camp there, with an exciting group of people...

Birthday & Kite Camp Video from the Philippines

At first I celebrated my 25th birthday on the Philippines with a couple of friends. Nothing big, but hey, you gotta do something once you are a quarter of a century old ;-)

Also I had time in Melbourne to finish the F-ONE camp video from Boracay. I really like it, especially the music ;-) Now I am in Melbourne again for a nother week for an F-ONE camp. After here I will fly straight back home, after being for almost 4 months non stop on the road. For how long is not sure yet, either only a couple of days or even weeks... we will see!

Unbelievable Waves at Kingfisher

At first it was not 100% sure what I was gonna do after Boracay, whether I was gonna to straight to Australia, Singapore or whatever else... Kathrin from Isla Kite came up with an interesting idea, to fly to the North of the Philippines, where she claimed to know a great but unkown wavespot...

Boracay

This is the 3rd trip this year and already the 3rd new destination. Pretty nice! Here in Boracay, we had lots of fun. The spot is nice, the kiting is good, and besides all the work I still got lots of time for myself on the water! The trip to get here was a desaster, but this is all forgotten. Isla Kite Surfing is taking care of us, and they spoil us rotten, so this is all awesome! Also the 3rd F-ONE camp was a full success…

Vietnam

I am always quite excited when I get to a new country for the first time. Since it does not happen too many times anymore, now, that Vietnam was another first, I was quite stoked to come. Even though the wind was not entirely perfect the full week, I still got to ride 3 days, and had plenty of fun on the water. Also the event of the Kiteboarding Tour Asia went by smoothly, so everybody had a blast! I actually enjoyed having not such a busy schedule for once, and used the time off to relax and chill…

Also, I finished the Camp Video from the camp in South Australia, check it out:

For us our next stop is 2 weeks Phillipines, 1 week for the camp and another one for a wave trip together with Etienne Lhote. After that I am leaving for Melbourne for another F-ONE Camp and then I will finally get to go back home for a few days after 3 months on the road. I will keep you up to date with all the exciting news!

Cheers

Jule

F-ONE Camp South Australia

The F-ONE Camp in Coffin Bay, South Australia excceeded all my expectations. The fully booked camp was a total success and all participants improved dramtically throughout the week and more important had loads of fun. The 10 days went by like nothing, and whilst having wind pretty much every day we also did some fishing and SUP…

Video from F-ONE Camp Maroochydore

The original plan was to spend the week between X-mas and New Year was to spend the week at the Great Barrier Reef, but since Australia has been hit by exceptionally heavy rainfalls this year, lots of areas in the North East got flooded and are unaccessible. So we had to cancel our plans and changed our flights to leave to South Australia earlier than planned right after an amazing X-mas celebration with Beaver from Kiteboarder Mag Australia) and his wife Alli…

South Ausralia is truly how one would imagine Australia to be: super outback, chilled, relaxed, everything far away, but extremely friendly and super hot! Jac and me will spend two weeks here, whereas one of them will be the 2nd F-ONE Camp. Today I already had a 4h kite session, and it was really nice to kite in the lagoons behind the sand bars. We are living with Scott und Jac who take care of us and spoil us rotten!!!!

Also, the Camp Video from the first Camp in Maroochydore just got finished. Have a look! Special Thanx to Mat from M8 who organized the whole thing!!!
