New Logo

The last 2 weeks I was working for 10 hours a day at the clinic. In order to stay in shape I cycled back and forth for each 30 minutes... I think I could do the Tour de France now ;-) Marie from Piknetart redesigned a new logo for me, as the old one that Martin had designed some years ago had served its purpose by now. We did not want to change the basic shape too much, and keep the J and H, however we wanted it to get a more compact shape. I also wanna say thank you to my girlfriend Jac who had the great idea to integrate the ECG wave into the H. The medical part of my life is very important and it surely shapes my character, so I wanted it to also be part of my logo!

This weekend I will be flying to Switzerland, to get some crazy flying done... lets just say my new title will be HON ;-) Next week I will be back at the clinic for some more days and then I am off to Bonaire in the Caribbean. After that I will give the Dakine Headquarter in Hood River another visit. I will give you my next update next week with sick pictures and more infos from Bonaire!

Cheers

Jule

21h Bus Trip from Barcelona to Innsbruck

The last day in Egypt was really aswesome. I had a sick session just perfect on the 7qm Bandit3 right before I had to leave for the airport to catch my flight. All my tricks worked out great, and I even landed a 6-7m high Kiteloop-Hooked-In-2-Hooked-Out-Handlepass, a trick I havent managed to land in quite some time. My hair was still wet when I entered the plane, as I just didnt wanna quit my session ;-)

O-Look24 Promotion

Bevore leaving here again, I was given some tasks... First, I was told, not to complain to much about my stressful life at home, as it should be rediculously easy for me, to handle 10h clinic a day, combined with diploma research, fitnesscenter and mag-work... so, I wont complain ;-) Second, I was told, that I keep thanking people all around the globe for every help they give me, but I never thank my family and hotel-mama at home... So, I really wanna thank my mum for spoiling me 24/7 when I am at home... Thats why I keep coming back :-)!!!!

Kitestock Event at Perth

Whenever I was thinking of Australia, I was thinking of endless wilderness, lots of dangerous animals, adventurous, etc… Melbourne had definitely been totally different than that, and so I was really excited how Perth in Western Australia would be! And my dream did not get disappointed! We were living at Andres place, who I hereby want to thank one more time for the hospitality and help. His house is just right at the beach, you could hear the waves… a dream!!! Every morning I either went for some surfing or went for a jog at the beach. That is really how I could imagine my own home! After breakfast I usually did some work for my diploma research or studied, and when the sea breeze came at around 11, I went for some great kite sessions…

Kiteevent in Melbourne

The flights to get here, were really one of the longest ones in my life. First I finished my Round The World Ticket from Los Angeles to Tokyo, and then I flew via Bangkok and Singapore to Melbourne. The Australian Championship was held here at the beach of St. Kilda, and I was invited as one of the guests of honor. They even used me for their flyer which is a pretty big honor considering how far away I am from...

Snowkiting, Coverage & Sequences

The last weeks back home have been quite stressfull. I was working at the uni or at the clinic 12h a day, adding up to studying and diploma research, there was no real time for anything else! This weekend I took off 2 days and went snowkiting with Daniel. We drove to a super sick spot in Italy, with 3D kiting-area and nice wind. The conditions were some of the best I have ever had, and so I enjoyed it, even though I dont like the winter so much normally...

Goodbye Capetown

The last week here was actually quite good. The waves got ibgger than 5m and I will remember the 2 sessions in Hakgat for a long time. I did not go for any Freestyle any more, but mostly on my 6m Bandit3 and my 5-10 Signature into the waves. They were quite challenging, but not cause they had 1½ boom height, but rather cause there is a lot of chop on the wave with the 30 kts wind... Anyways, it was tons of fun...
