Fone Bandit4 - The Full Review
Since Fone puts all their money into one kite, there is the possibility every year, that this plan goes all wrong, or they produce the next Big Cash Cow! Of course this is always a little nerve wrecking when we all get to test the kites at the Dealermeeting. But I can assure you, the Bandit4 will once again be the top kite to beat!!!The graphics are very similar to the Bandit3, since Fone wants to have a clear recognizable line. The 2 main differences (aside of some several small ones) are the almost rectangular tips and the kite has only 3 instead of 5 struts. This results into the main improvements of the flying abilities:
First of all, the Bandit4 provides a better C-kite like feeling, meaning that even with your eyes closed, you can tell very well where the kite stands in the sky! Furthermore the Pop is better to anticipate, the take off therefore easier and all tricks better to execute! All, Freestylers, Waveriders and Beginners, will appreciate this easier maneuverability a lot as it makes everything easier!
As the Bandit4 will only have 3 struts, it will not only be lighter, but also have more power turn better. It will however NOT loose any of its stability or depower, as the Delta (which makes up for this characteristics) has not been changed!!!!
If you want to use it for Freestyle, Waves, Freeriding or as a beginner, I can assure you the Bandit4 will make you the happiest kitesurfer! In every aspect the Bandit has been improved! Also the bar has been remodeled and consists now of Full Alluminium, with new Adjuster and Release! Everything according to international Security Standards!

I currently have B3 quiver, but now upgrading to B4 when available.
One question: when you say that the B4 has "more power turn better", do you mean that the B4 has better low end and turns faster than the B3? Could you clarify please.

The B4 has a slight better low-end, and even though the turning radius remains the same as the B3, through only haveing 3 struts and being lighter, the B4 reacts faster and more direct, thereby being faster!

hi Julian..I want to buy this 2 kite..I have 105 kg,and I need kites for wind range 10-30knots..what do you think to take 14m and 10m,or you suggesting something else..I will buy it in aboute 2 weeks but cannot tried tham..Thanks in advance
Hey Marko. The difference between the 12 and 14 is defenitely feelable!!! Both, in the low end, but also in the turning speed! If you really want to kite in 15 knots or below, you have to take the 14, combined with the 10! The 10 has a great low and even better high end, so you should be rocking on this combo! Only if you say, ok, I can handle going on the water at 15 knots only, then I would take 12 and 8, but probably, as you write 10-30 knots you will run best with 14 / 10!!! Hey.i have a Bandit1 6.5 meters and i want a stable kite, it should be better for me to have a Bandit4 6 , 7 or 8 meters? I have 85kg and I want this kite for wind range 20-40knots

Ich habe heuer mit dem Kiten Angefangen (Gardasee) war 2 mal mitn 13 drausen war eigentlich ok . Wollte noch mal auf Achensee einen weiteren Kurs machen aber hatte noch nicht die Zeit und das Wetter spielte nicht mehr mit. da ich auch noch sehr gerne Mountinbiken gehe.
Überlege mir fürs nächste jahr ein Kiteset zuzulegen und Fone ist genau so mein style aber da ich auch fürs Biken Geld brauche und ich nicht 2 Kites kaufen möchte frage ich ob es für mich eine universale Grösse gibt . bin 180 Gross und 80 kg schwer und Anfänger !!
es soll ein Bandit 4 sein!!und eventuel das neue TX

Is jetzt sicher schwer einfach so pauschal zu sagen, aber ich denke du bist da dann mit dem 10er sicher am besten bedient!

werd mal am besten mal ein Set ausprobieren etweder mir verschlägts mal nach Ägypten oder im Sommer aufn Achensee.
Gehst du auch auf Achensee Kiten wie sind dort so die Bedingungen!
