ACID Board Test

Even though the new 2010 boards are only coming out in 1 month, I, as an int. Teamrider have the opportunity a little bit earlier to test them for myself, magazines and shops. So far I rode the new Trax5, the Skate and my favorite board: ACID...

Riding conditions: Mauritius + Brazil, 20-25 Knots, Bandit3 7qm, 8qm, 9qm, everything, from chop to dead-flat waters

ACID3 132*40,5

The last years the Acid had always been my absolute favorite board, so the expectations are very high to the new 2010 model: it had to have just as a good pop, plane extremely early, go upwind like nuts, be loose but not too much,.. just be perfect ;-) The only criticism I had, as I was riding an extremely wide stance, is that the 2009 model catches easily, as it has barely any rocker...

I told the desinger, and... it was changed :-) The 2010 Acid has one major difference: a very clever concave. This causes two things: first it enables you to gain speed alot faster again after landings and thereby makes you land tricks that you would have normally crashed. And second, as the concave makes you plane even earlier, they could give the board more concave, so it doesnt have any splashing water nor does it catch easily! Awesome :-)

Compared to the Trax the Acid is more sportive. It has less Flex, thereby creating more pop, but also riding a little harder. The 2010 Acid will however appeal to alot more riders than in the last year, and I would advise anybody, who has always been riding the Trax, to give the Acid a try... you will be impressed!!! And with the real porn graphics, the Acid will be once again my Go-To-Board!!!!

I am a french guy
i have a lot of difficulty to looking for a french test
but yours is very clear , and i like the last idea to give a chance to the acid for trax boy
