A Happy New Year 2010 from Capetown
The winds here are finally full-on! I basically never take a bigger kite than 7 and the word underpowered does not exist anymore ;-) 30kts minimum day-in-day-out, and sometimes it is that strong that i dont even go out on my 6. Most of the days I go Freestyling in the morning when the wind is still a little lighter and change onto my Waveboard for some surf in the afternoons...My ambitions to train Freestyle here are not really high, but rather I focus on improving my Waveriding. I go into the 3-4m waves mostly unhooked, try rotations and got some big Aerials so far :-) Capetown is pretty fun and diverse. The wave forecast is looking great: 4m next week!!! NICE!
