21h Bus Trip from Barcelona to Innsbruck

The last day in Egypt was really aswesome. I had a sick session just perfect on the 7qm Bandit3 right before I had to leave for the airport to catch my flight. All my tricks worked out great, and I even landed a 6-7m high Kiteloop-Hooked-In-2-Hooked-Out-Handlepass, a trick I havent managed to land in quite some time. My hair was still wet when I entered the plane, as I just didnt wanna quit my session ;-)

After that I was leaving to Barcelona and Leucate for the 2nd tourstop of the worldcup. The first day the wind was full on, but after that it was dead… Didnt really matter as the event was a huge success and we had loads of fun. I spent a day at the Fone headquarter in Montpellier and I got to catch a glimpse at the new Bandit4 Prototypes. We also had a meeting for a new project during the next year. I cant tell you too much about everything, but both the kites and the new project are going to be pretty cool :-)

The additional day in France however really bugged me afterwards, as I got stuck for 2 days in Barcelona since all the flights got cancelled. After loads of phone calls and a talk with the station manager I got a place on the bus from Barcelona to Munich. An exhausting 21h later I finally arrived in Munich where Daniel picked me up and took me straight to Innsbruck for clinic work. What a trip :-( At least I got home in time!!!

I will be home for 3 weeks and then some pretty cool trips are coming up: Carebbean, Portland, maybe Marocco,… I will keep you up to date!!!
